Certifications based on the Common European Framework of Reference
Our exams are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and are recognised by ALTE, which subjects them to strict quality standards.

The exam demonstrates the language skills to express oneself simply and at a basic level in various everyday situations. It focuses on the ability to understand everyday situations, talk with familiar people, write simple letters and read short texts.
The exam demonstrates, including in a work context, the language skills needed to communicate at a basic level in everyday life. It includes skills for travel, shopping, filling in forms and understanding everyday texts.
Certifies the ability to handle both everyday and professional use of the language skilfully on familiar topics and personal interests. For students aged 16+ (a 12-16 version exists). ÖSD-Goethe Institut collaboration.
Participants express themselves clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics, conversing fluently with native speakers. It includes pragmatic and intercultural skills. Recognised for university admission in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol.
Candidates communicate in various social and work situations, even in complex contexts. Particularly suitable for those intending to study at universities in German-speaking countries. High level of linguistic accuracy.
Candidates understand virtually everything they read or hear without difficulty. They summarise information from various sources, express themselves spontaneously, fluently and precisely, conveying even the subtlest nuances.
Kompetenz in Deutsch - Specific certifications for children and young people up to age 14. They attest skills to communicate in the private sphere, at school and in semi-formal situations relevant to young people.
These exams correspond to levels A1 and A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
A specialist version designed with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. It assumes a high level of knowledge (C2) and requires command of technical language for business professions. Useful for those who wish to use German in business and commerce.
