An institution for Trieste since 1965
The Italo-Austrian European Forum ODV was founded in 1965 and is a non-profit social welfare association.
FEIA is an organisation free from any political, religious or racial activity; it is non-profit and pursues exclusively the promotion of culture, understood as the enhancement of each country's heritage, in search of constant growth and mutual enrichment in the European and international context through international, cross-border and decentralised cooperation projects.
The association's content and structure are democratic, based on solidarity principles, and allow members to effectively take part in the life and activities of the association.
The association's activity is based on the precious support of volunteers who give their work with great joy, motivation and conviction that helping cultural promotion means growing and developing the intellectual personality of each individual.
The staff is made up of a group of highly motivated, dynamic people working to spread European culture and civilisation — Italian and Austrian in particular — fostering relations between Italy and Austria with a series of initiatives and cultural events embracing the world of music, entertainment, art, tourism and food & wine, as well as the spread of foreign cultures and languages.
